Lisa was born in Florida, but eventually left to travel the country. While traveling with her sister, she discovered the beauty that Colorado had to offer. She resided there for over 25 years and later had a beautiful child.

Several years later she met and married her husband, Don. Eventually she was ready to get out of the snow and moved back to sunny Florida. 

Lisa found her Lord and Savior after the birth of her son.  She received the gift of the holy spirit shortly after she was baptized in Denver.  Her son, was blessed by the church and became quite a little prayer warrior.  

He laid hands on the sick when others would pray and praised God like there was no tomorrow.  Her husband, Don, was instrumental in assisting the Pastor with the maintenance at their church.

Lisa says, THE BOOK "I'm Doing The Best I Can!" is a gift from God. With no experience as a writer, she began to journal her thoughts as she watched her child drift away from the family.  
Lisa went through many emotions with God and had several serious discussions with Him.  The questions were intense,  and the concerns overwhelming.  

She admits that it wasn't until her child left for college that she realized God had been present the entire time.  He brought her child home every night, when she had no clue where he was or what he was doing. It was such an amazing revelation, which eventually brought her closer to God.
